Steady Refuge: Annual BIPOC Retreat

  • Insight Meditation Society Barre, MA USA (map)

In times of uncertainty, we can turn toward what steadies us. This six-night silent residential BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) retreat offers a refuge of stillness rooted in the Four Noble Truths and the heart qualities of the Brahmaviharas. Held in empowering noble silence with optional daily movement, this retreat invites us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the inner strength and compassion that are always available—no matter the world outside.

The retreat will be co-taught by Devin Berry, Yong Oh, and Cara Lai with assistant teachers Aishah Shahidah Simmons and Isabel Adon

This retreat is subsidized - $210 minimum to attend plus free r/t Bus Travel from NYC.
